FAQ – Cakes & Events

How long does it take for an order to ship after it’s placed online?

Typically orders are made and shipped within 3 business days.

My party is Saturday. When should I order my cake?

Killer cotton candy cakes have a shelf life of 2 weeks if left unopened and kept in a cool, dry location. Thursday local pick ups have a cut off order by date of Sunday prior at midnight. As long as you place your order by the Sunday before, you should be good! If you’re going to do shipping instead, we recommend placing the order a minimum of 8 days before your party (in this example that would be Friday, 8 days before the party).

How come you don’t offer more pick up times?

We’re a small family business just starting out. We have after school activities, other work and family commitments just like our clients. At this time, we are only able to offer pick ups on Thursdays 12-1pm and 4-6pm. The good news is we can ship your order if that timeframe doesn’t work for you (Wisconsin addresses only).

Are your cakes allergen safe?

Our cakes are made in a private home kitchen. While our cakes do not contain nuts, dairy, eggs or gluten, we do have nuts, dairy, eggs and gluten in our kitchen.

How much cotton candy is in a cake?

Our 8″ cakes contain 25 cones of cotton candy. Typically, at a selling event we’d sell each cone for $5. Our cakes are a great deal!

Why are your event packages for only 2 hours?

Our machines need breaks so as to not overheat. 2 hours is the perfect time and most folks will enjoy cotton candy once (come up for one cone), unlike a typical bar/food/beverage station where you have guests visiting multiple times.

How much sugar is in the cotton candy cake?

Cotton candy cakes are literally made with only sugar. The sugar content in a slice of cotton candy cake is less than a can of soda.

Your event packages are for up to 50 guests. What if I want KCC at my event with 200 guests?

Please contact us for a quote! We will certainly be adding on more product, more staff, and more than 1 machine in order to create an awesome event experience for you.

Do you do selling events? My school is having an event and I want you guys there.

Occasionally, yes, but for starters (in 2023), we are focusing on our cakes and private events. We have certain minimums we need to meet to cover our costs and make a profit for any selling events.

Do you have a return policy?

Yes of course. See here.
